Haha, “nice” example, don’t you know that SA is ruled by wahhabi sectarians, who promotes radicalism and perverted Islam, who sponsors terrorists around the world and even in muslim regions, who is the puppet of anglo-saxons. The same SA that sentenced to death women for… witchcraft (over 70 in this year). They are true barbarians (though i personally dislike this word).
The voice at this video wasn’t correct:BG itself causes no problems, all questions goes to a book named “BG as it is” (can be found here — asitis.com). As you see, it’s two different books. First one — holy Book, second — just a commentary to BG. I hope that this mistake is occasional, because there are many “well-wishers” (of anglo-saxonian origin for example) who wishes to ruin relations between the countries.

@jim55001 you know most people are rather sad and shocked than angry that it happened in russia ..i am an atheist but when they said that gita is extremist that shocked me!! of course i did not read gita but you can’t simply say a book to be extremist if its thoughts does not goes along with your religion right.
If youre an intelligent and learned persons, take the original Gita and compare it to the banned “B-G as it is” book, read Prabhupada’s comments. And only after this make such a “shame on Russia” etc comments. Shame on those people, who wants to spoil good relationships between our nations.
Once again for my Indian friends: nobody banned Mahabharata or Bhagawad Gita, here in Russia we have a lot of professional translations of Bhagawad Gita written by famous Russian Sanskritologists and Indologists. Prabhupada’s work “B-G as it is” is definitely the worst translation of Gita and it full of extreme sectarian comments where he insulting other religions and teachings such as Advaita, Shaktism etc, he insulting Mahadev by calling Him “demigod” etc,that’s why this book faced the ban.
ISKCON (which book has faced the ban) is an american neo-hindu sect and have NO relation to the traditional Hinduism. In this banned book Prabhupada calls everybody who do not belong to the “Krishna Consciousness” a “Mudhas”(Donkeys), animals, he says that “only stupid people worship other Gods”, he call Lord Shiva a “demigod” etc etc, thus in this sectarian book he is INSULTING people who follows other religions including the traditional Hinduism.
Important note, before commenting you must know: they do not ban the Bhagwad Gita, they ban only the ISKCON’s edition of the book as they found “extremism” in Srila Prabhupada’s comments, not in the holy text of the original Mahabharata-Bhagawat Gita book.

Russia has its right wehter to ban gita or not..Its their choice..We see some of the comments of these gita guys like We will give order to Usa Instead of russia.. My dear stupid indian gita followers.. This is not the way you behave..If you start being proud on small things which are not even counted..people will start hating you…its your behaviour..You seem to think usa will be yoru friend by showing your purchaising power..if you really are rich be humble..but unuckily you are nothing
i am a muslim, any holy book which talks of omipotent nature of ‘ GOD’ and not gods is a reavealed to all humans according to islam since the origin of man,and the holy gita is also one of such books for sure, henec banning any holy book is like banning GODs message to the humanity
