Here is what I am giving my students (ages 4-15) as Christmas presents this year. The teddy bears came from Costco The other little gifts for the primary kids came from the $1.50 bins at Michael’s craft store. And the silly bands came from an online wholesaler – 120 bands shipped to Canada for $5! I just bought a big role of fleece from a local fabric store. Enjoy

@totallyawesome171 Thank you! I’ll definitely make some more vlogs this holiday season! I have a whole bunch of videos that I am thinking of, just waiting to tape and vlogs are part of that (some DIY stuff as well!) Happy holidays to you too
I love watching christmas videos like this especially when they really get into detail:) I LOVE your video from last christmas you always choose out great thinGS Christy! Your students are very lucky to have you:) Happy Holidays and can you make a vlog on new years and on the holidays please? I love your vlogs like my favorite one was when you did the halloween one and chloe’s birthday and so much more:)
@fadingdreams300 I’ve also given away those jumbo pencils in the past and they’re always a hit! It’s great to know they loved what they got.
@Shelshin Yea! The older students are harder to get them something they will like, for a cheap price, but all of the little kids were so excited with the teddy bears and erasers and stuff even though they were like $2 only
@mylittlecasey1 I think they did appreciate it. Some more than others but even just seeing one kid super happy with their gift, makes it all worth it. One girl loves my mechanical pencils each class and always tells me how she wishes she had one, so she was soo soo excited with the giant mechanical pencil!
Being a teacher myself, I know how even little things like these can add up and end up costing quite a bit of money. It is very generous of you to do this for them. I hope they appreciate it! Happy Holidays!
This was such a great gesture to your students, good job
kids always feel happy when they recieve a gift even if it’s a small one, it makes their day
great job again!
@glailaj Yaa the kids liked them too. I gave a bunch of them out today. The silly bands were the biggest hit lol
@CenaChaingangSolider and the nice thing about the site, is that you pay… but the seller doesn’t get the money until you confirm that you got the item. The site just holds the money until they hear from you. One time I didn’t get the item (even though the feedback looked promising) and I told the site that I didn’t and I got my money refunded. But my last 2 purchases that I did worked well and I got the items no problem and left feedback and that I got it, so the seller got the money!
@missravenashley I teach acting and drama. For the really young ones it is just movement, working on memorization with games and repeat back to me poems. then the older ones it is acting (mimes!) and poetry and for the younger students who want a challenge and the older ones we do scenes from plays, shakespeare, prose passages from books as well as and poetry. Last year my youngest age was 6 but yea this year I have some young ones. One girl was 3 and 3/4 when she started!
Those are so thoughtful!
@CenaChaingangSolider I got them from dhgate.com but you definitely have to look at feed back since many people aren’t truthful. And most of the items are in the 500 or 1000s of items and I don’t have a use for that many so you have to search a lot to find ones with fewer items. And the items come directly from china so quality isn’t as great as regular items and they have a lot of fakes to avoid(ie fake Mac makeup) but my students didn’t care that the bands aren’t actually “Silly Bandz” brand.
@Vindicated15 Thanks! I figured the pocket was cooler than just a regular rectangle lol
The scarf idea is so cute! You’re really crafty!
Could you give me the site where you got the silly bands. I really like your gift ideas
